Embodiment is not just used to describe feminine dance or movement practices - it is a way of being the living, human, embodiment of teachings. Such as the ones from our dear plant ally ceremonial cacao.

I don’t use the word “embodiment” lightly.
For me this is not a simple somatic practice but a lifestyle. Embodied living happens in every moment, outside of ceremony and during those testing and challenging times. 

So many are taking several courses about Cacao, want certifications and to KNOW more - and I absolutely get it, I was the same AND proper research is important as is a good foundation of knowledge (I offer a cacao training myself) but hear me out:
When you find yourself in constant need and search for something external to validate your working with and sharing of Cacao (and all other spiritual and holistic modalities), you are invited to ask yourself: what do I need to find within myself? 

Training that includes accountability and apprenticeship is important as we need knowledgeable and experienced people but unfortunately in our world of distraction and ego driven behaviour we so often miss INTEGRATED EMBODIED EXPERIENCE AND WISDOM because we want to be seen as having already arrived (being the wise one, the elder, the shaman, the medicine woman) instead of constantly humbly learning and acknowledging where we are now, with our gifts, talents and our flaws and lack of experience. The courses can quickly become a bandaid for doing the actual work and showing up in your life and community aka putting in time, energy and effort to accumulate experience through success AND failure.

This is why I think building your individual connection with Cacao and a personal practice is essential and no external source can ever establish that for you.

No book, no mentor, no course will ever be able to establish a connection to spirit within you. 
BUT they can be incredible tools and support to help you connect. 
Just never forget that it is YOU MAKING SPACE AND TIME FOR YOUR INTERNAL GUIDANCE which brings on your magic.

But how to connect to cacao and your inner guidance?

By making a commitment to and with the plant. 

Starting a dialogue. 

Making space to listen to your body and to cacao (stop intaking other stronger substances and minimise distraction).

Start a daily practice .

Drink cacao and SIT WITH IT (being instead of doing).

Develop a relationship with cacao, offer your presence and undivided attention. Try not to escape into other tasks, or modalities and practices. sit with cacao and cacao only and start a conversation. LISTEN and be humbled by whatever comes or does not come.

Embodying Cacaos Teachings bring not only more love, joy and magic into your life but also those of others! Cacao is a Connection Facilitator and wants us to share her magic, but to truly have an impact of doing so we need to lead by example and not only talk about her benefits but show the world that we are living them!
